Update and Repair Your Old Concrete Things

You can make anything out of concrete

We almost always think of concrete as a building material for homes, buildings and other large structures like dams and retaining walls.

Concrete however can be made into almost anything including house hold items and art.

Hardscapes Inc. deals specifically in concrete design and decorative flooring along with restorative repair on drive ways walkways and stair structures.

Anything that has become weather worn or compromised by flooding can be repaired and brought back to its original beauty by our professional team.

Check out some of these other uses of concrete.

Concrete Lasts

Holland Landing LocksConcrete lasts a long time. The East Humber River system was going to be an extension from Lake of the Trent waterway system. Essentially linking Lake Simcoe with Lake Ontario. The waterway was in construction from 1906-1912 when the project was shelved due to the outbreak of World War One.

This partly finished lock system can still be found in and around Newmarket and Holland Landing Ontario proving that concrete really lasts.

These days new technology can enhance the use of concrete making it a perfect medium for floors and beautiful counter tops and sinks.

If you want a product that lasts check out some of our concrete designs and give us a call for more information on how concrete can work in your home.

In Remembrance…

fieldpoppiesOn Wednesday November 11, 2015 we pay tribute and remember those members of the armed forces – some who selflessly sacrificed their own precious lives in the line of duty — who have served their nation in war, in armed conflict, and in the effort of sustaining world peace.

Past, present and future we salute those who have served and those who continue to serve at home and overseas. Without them there would be no freedom.

Fall back on Halloween…

“Daylight Savings Time” is a way of making better use of the daylight in the evenings by setting the clocks forward one hour during the longer days of summer, and back again in the fall.

Daylight savings time will end with a “fall back” to standard time on Sunday November 1, at 2:00 a.m.

And, Happy Halloween…
