If you recently had concrete work done outdoors like a stamped or textured driveway or sidewalk but didn’t get a chance to have it sealed before the weather turned cold, what should you do?
With unsealed concrete there is always a chance of freeze or thaw damage in colder weather. If the mix was correct you shouldn’t have any problems.
If you get a couple of warmer days it is advisable to get the concrete sealed but the concrete has to be dry for 24 hours before you seal it.
If the temperature remains cold you will have to leave it unsealed until the weather warms and allows for it to be properly sealed.

Have you been wondering what is going to finish off that new company space. There is something missing but you can’ t quite put your finger on it.

Stopping freshly poured concrete from drying out too quickly is called curing. If left to dry out of its own accord, concrete will not develop the full bond between all of its ingredients. It will be weaker and crack mill crack more. The surface might not be as hard as it should be.
